I am so irritated! I called in an order to go that cost me $88.00 and it was incorrect! I called them back after driving home 15 minutes away and requested that they correct it, they refused! Don't go here.....they are nothing but a**holes and thieves!!!!!!

I like going to Master Wok. Unlike most small restaurants, it's always been very clean, and well lit. The ornate flowers they have everywhere is a nice touch. I think my daughter would eat the triple delight every day if see could. The lunch is a good value and they don't seem to mind special request.

Went here for a late lunch with my boyfriend today. Service was great! Food came out quickly and was really fresh and delicious. We both got the hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon and a lunch entree. Will definitely be back!

This is my favorite restaurant in Lees Summit serving Asian style foods. My son loves the General Tso's Chicken and I enjoy the Cashew Chicken. I usually ask for extra snow peas to be added with no problem. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. We also usually get the crab rangoons and two spring rolls. These are always fresh and that is important. We usually do take out but have been in the the restaurant located near Raintree. Nice atmosphere and excellent service!

It's not the best Chinese and it's a little bit more expensive than it should be, but if you're in the mood it's okay. Usually I try to go to panda express but if I need a quick Chinese meal I'll go here -- nothing to write home about.

Hands down, the best Chinese place in Lee's Summit (and most of the surrounding area, for that matter). Excellent food, excellent service, excellent value. I can't come up with a single bad thing to say about the place, and I've been eating their food for years. I've never had a bad dining experience in all my years of eating there.

Master wok is good Chinese/American cuisine. Quick, plentiful portions and a clean place. Price is good. You'll be happy with your order.

When I first moved here from Boston, I tried many Chinese food restaurants around the KC area before finding Master Wok as my regular place to satisfy my Chinese food cravings. My family and I order from there so frequently that many of the staff members will correct me if I forget an item that I usually order - whether it is take out or dine in. For starters, I always order Fried Dumplings - back East they are known as Peking Ravioli. I have yet to find anybody in KC that has heard of Peking Ravioli. Every time I order them, I am always reminded that my order will take a little longer, but that is okay, they are worth the wait. Since Chinese restaurants in KC do not have Chicken Fingers, I order the Sweet & Sour Chicken with no sauce - viola, same thing as Chicken Fingers plus some extra veggies. Our other standbys are King Pao Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein and Crab Rangoon. Occasionally, we will order Mongolian Beef. My youngest daughter always needs to have her WonTon Soup, but hold the Shrimp. Service is always very friendly and sociable. The wait staff never allows your beverage glass to run dry if you are eating in. If doing take out, call ahead and you can use their drive thru window - how many Chinese restaurants have one of those? The prices are average. It costs me almost the same to feed a family of five here with leftovers than is does to get foot long subs, chips and drinks across the street with no leftovers. So glad to have found this place, and it is so close to home.

Ordered shrimp fried rice. It wasn't all that and the shrimp were barely cooked. They charged me .30 cents for sweet n sour sauce when I spent 10.00. Never will eat here again.

Better than most other Chinese restaurants in LS. Generals chicken is exactly what you would expect and there is always enough to eat again for another meal. Service is very fast and the people are very nice and accommodating. It is almost like Chinese sit-down fast food.

Items to get: crispy shrimp app (shrimp wrapped in wontons); fried rice - any variety; sweet & sour chicken. Skip: Mu Shu of any kind. The pancakes are flour tortillas. Fail. Nice quiet atmosphere. Good hot tea.

I did a to go order for the first time today. Ordered lunch specials for 4 people total was $28 something. Great price for tons of food. The food was pretty good too. Best Chinese I had eaten in awhile!

My entire family has been eating at this restaurant for years. It's still our favorite Chinese place in/near Lee's Summit. We have eaten there many times over the last year & again just a few days ago. What strikes me about this restaurant is the welcoming greeting we receive when we arrive, the great service from the wait staff, & certainly the excellent food. Never had anything there that wasn't delicious. Only very positive experiences for all of us.

I live close, but have only eaten there three times. Awful each time. Last night was the last time. Got there 40 minutes before close. No nice greeting. Just a stern warning from the creepy old women with weird eyes, that they are closing at nine! On the way to table, saw party of four leave, and each left full plates of food. No carry-out. Lettuce wraps was huge portion, but soooo salty, that is all you could taste. Kung Poa shrimp, horrid. Huge portion, but copious amount of sauce was bland and SALTY. Everyone is your best friend when you leave. Good bye. Thank you's out the wazoo. The worst thing is that I am currently sick as a dog. Both ends. Horrible place.

Beef and broccoli and general Tso chicken was good flavor and good, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, fried rice and noodles left little to be desired. Will probably try somewhere else next time. Very pricey

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
